No invented numbers.
Every nutrition number on ZERO carries one of three states, and the state is visible in the UI — not buried in a tooltip.
Verified — the number is printed on the product's label or official brand nutrition page, and we've checked it. The source is named on the product page.
Estimated — a researched figure from a citable published source: the brand's own published nutrition, an official claim, or Open Food Facts label data. Always shown with “~”, its source named on the product page, and its ZERO Score hollow (~8.7) until we re-check the printed label ourselves.
Unverified — the product is real and listed by how the brand positions it (zero sugar, high protein), but we have no citable figure yet. Those numbers render as “—”, and the score as “?”.
Demo — illustrative values, used only for prices (marked †), which vary by retailer, city and pack size.
Serving sizes matter: a “0 kcal” claim is per stated serving under local labelling rules. Where a claim is per-serving, we show the serving (*).
ZERO lists products; it doesn't make health claims. Nothing here is medical, dietary or nutritional advice.
